In Vitro Evaluation of Effect of Different Essential Oils in Management of Post-Harvest Fruit Rot of Banana (Musa Paradisiaca) Caused by Colletotrichum spp

A study was conducted to evaluate the in vitro efficacy of different essential oils management post-harvest fruit rot banana. It carried out completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications and six treatments at Nepal Plant Diseases Agro Associates (NPDA). The each treatments: cinnamon oil (Cinnamomum verum), mustard (Brassica oleracea), castor (Ricinus communis), neem (Azadirachta indica), coconut (Cocos nucifera) control were used concentrations 200ppm, 500ppm 1000ppm respectively. radial growth mycelium (mm) percent inhibition (%) Colletotrichum spp. recorded. decrease increase found all except as their concentration increased, which lowest highest 1000 ppm concentration. At concentration, shows (1.67mm 98.15%) followed by (54.00mm 40.00%), (55.17mm 38.70%), (55.83mm 37.96%), (61.17mm 32.04%) (90mm 0.00%) respectively.Thus, is considered a good regards disease Int. J.
